I know legal events inside and out.

And I know what it feels like to sit in a room that wasn't designed for you. As a longtime regulatory lawyer in food and life sciences, I spent years attending — and presenting at — firm events that were clearly built around what the firm wanted to say rather than what the audience needed to take away.
